It's been almost three months since we last contacted you with
news about Sports Mogul. We've been very busy since then, improving
Baseball Mogul Online and finishing Baseball Mogul 2003. Read

Baseball Mogul 2003 is finished and will be in retail stores
such as Wal-Mart on April 15th. We will update the web site with
other retail outlets as they finalize their orders.

For the new baseball season, we have uploaded a new database
to Baseball Mogul Online that represents player rosters as of
April 1, 2002. This is now the default database for all new leagues,
and the new leagues will start on opening day of 2002. We have
also improved Baseball Mogul Online -- the most significant change
you will notice is that a player's entire career is now displayed
"year by year" in the Scouting Report. In pre-existing
leagues, these "year-by-year" stats will start to accumulate
at the beginning of the next season.
League commissioners should note that the 'Reset League' button
will start a league over on April 1, 2002. However, please give
advance notice to all team owners before choosing to a reset a
league.

For those of you curious about Football Mogul, there will be
a new version in time for this year's NFL season. We had planned
to release a new version in January, but in order to get Baseball
Mogul 2003 into retail stores we had to have it finished in February,
which forced Football Mogul to the back burner. The good news
is that Football Mogul should now also be available at retail
this fall, something we would have been unable to accomplish if
we had self-published the game in January.
I know that many of you are Fantasy Baseball players and I'd
like to take a moment to recommend a service that I have used
in the past to help me win my leagues (5 years out of 7). Ron
Shandler's BaseballHQ.com has always provided the best information
I could find (including some hints in putting together each year's
Baseball Mogul database) and they now have a great set of products
for draft prep and use throughout the season. For those who'd
like to sample the content at Baseball HQ, Ron distributes a free
