Question What Is This? Baseball Manager?

    Baseball Manager?

I copied and pasted the link and it says it is based on the BM2003 engine.

So, how is this different then Baseball Mogul?

I'm curious and would like to know.

    Entry-Level Game

Baseball Manager is an entry-level baseball simulation that uses the core of the Baseball Mogul Engine. Baseball Manager allows the user to simulate seasons, make trades, and do the other GM activities.

But Baseball Manager does not have real player names, nor does it allow the user to modify any parts of the game universe. So they user can't edit players, change stadiums, adjust the league structures, etc.

A user who just wants to simulate games and trade players around will enjoy Baseball Manager, and it is priced accordingly.

Baseball Manager will only be available in limited distribution, and will be at an entry-level price.

"Entry-level" means about $5.00, in places like grocery stores.

A deal we cut but never got paid for -- that sounds familiar.

BTW -- a fair bit of time has been spent on these boards complaining about publishers that Sports Mogul has worked with and how evil they are. I won't say anything bad about anyone here, but I would like to take a moment to say that EA, Midway, and Microsoft, were all very straightforward and honest to work with.

You might find it in a grocery store somewhere. Considering it's a crippled version of BB2K3, and you can buy BB2K3 for $4.95, I doubt it's worth looking for.

FYI, Simply Media is currently under investigation by the FBI for a number of crimes, including, but not limited to, publishing Baseball Manager and Football Manager without paying us any royalties.
