    Re: Unofficial Patch (Version 9.13)

Minor league stats are still broken, 95% of players hit between .400 and .500. Corresponding high ERA's.

As for a suggestion, can there be an option to tell the user of player retirements in season? Seems every month I get a pop-up that pauses the sim to tell me a retiring player somewhere in the league.

The sim settings are great! Solved the HR problem in 2 seconds. From the sounds of it the player personality/happiness settings are not functional yet, but that is going to be a good feature.

The budget calculator in the FA window is also nice.

Should be near that one, alphabetically anyways. The .bak is just a backup created when you auto-download a patch.

Then just unzip or paste the new file into the directory where you see the .bak file. It will then ask if you'd like to overwrite the old one.

    Clay,

I've long suspected (since 2K6) that catchers play WAY to many games. I finally looked up the stats and think the resting algorithm for catchers needs tweaked quite a bit.

The following is an average of number of catchers reaching said AB's. The numbers for both are an average over 3 seasons. I got the real one from : http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/stats/...=false&count=1

    MLB:
    600+ AB's - Less than 1
    500 AB's - 4
    400 AB's - 11
    300 AB's - 13
    200 AB's - 9

    Mogul:
    600+ AB's - 4
    500 AB's - 11
    400 AB's - 9
    300 AB's - 6
    200 AB's - 6

    Re: Unofficial Patch (Version 9.13)

Found another unfixed bug from 9.12 and before - splits for the previous year are disappearing. All AB's or Innings are conglomerated under 'righties.' Carrer totals seems right though.

Likewise, the checkboxes for 'automatic text output' in the options menu do not stay checked, even though they are outputting. Just makes things a bit confusing.

    Clay,

I haven't played the new patch yet, but I'm going to in about 30 seconds. I'm sure there will be some minor bugs, but I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to address the games issues immediatly.

We greatly appreciate your effort in giving us all the features and gameplay that we request.

    Clay,

Why is WHIP is still miscalculated through 9.13?

    Thanks

That player editor crash bug is back...

Randomly, and when I click "Done."

When it froze, I opened up the Task Manager, and in Applications, there were two instances of Baseball Mogul 2007, but only one in Processes. The second application of it only appears after the freeze.

Ok, it seems much more frequent than previously. Its to the point where Im going to have to halt my rosters until a new patch fixes this crash..

Im reverting back to 9.12, but Clay, look into this so it can be fixed for 9.14.

I like this new patch. The simulation settings have helped make reliever ERA's more reasonable

That's the good news. The bad news is that I too am having that edit player problem. It just freezes, and it pisses me off. Please fix this for 9.14

Nice research. Before I go in and change just the catcher rest AI, do the other positions look right?

I just simmed 2006 with 9.13 and got the following:

    600+ AB's - 0
    500 AB's - 10
    400 AB's - 11
    300 AB's - 6
    200 AB's - 4

Not too far off, although most catchers are above their 2005 numbers.
