Expand Playoffs!

Seems like the limit is 12. How about sixteen? Or it would be nice to allow only one team to have a bye and 6 teams fight in the 1st round.

Not necessarily against this idea, but remember that not even BM has this feature. BM only allows for up to eight teams, and that only if you have three divisions.

That's like saying the Honda Accord shouldn't say it has "new features" because they didn't add 4-Wheel Drive. Last year you were stuck with the 2008 season. Now you can do any config from 1970 to the present, you can change the number of Wild Card teams, you can turn on/off 2-point conversions, you can turn on/off tie games and overtime, you can set the season schedule as low as 4 games, you can have as few as 1 playoff team per conference or as many as 6, you can set the salary cap or turn it off, you can set the league revenue/inflation level. That's a lot of "league editing options". Enough that I wouldn't assume just by reading that line that this version includes the ability to have 14 or 16 playoff teams. This isn't the NBA (or NHL).

No it's not the NBA or NHL, it's a computer game. And a computer game should allow for better customization when asked for. That statement is misleading. Just like the BM League Builder that allows you to import historical teams into one league, oh but if a player can only be on one team not both! Misleading!

I think we should make them longer, I dont like the 5-7-7 thing and only 4 teams. It should be set up like this.

1st and 2nd from all divisions even wild card.

Make each one A best of Seven, and do it like hockey and basketball.

Tho I like baseball and football playoffs 100% over basketball and hockey. Actually have to be good team in football and baseball, I've seen so many under .500 teams in basketball and hockey make the playoffs its disgusting.
