Mogul Fans, Some of you know that I've been struggling with chronic pain and fatigue (I posted publicly on Facebook back in March). For years, I was unable to get a diagnosis or cure from any doctor. The most they could offer were amphetimines and painkillers to help me function for a few hours every day. To make a long story short, we eventually concluded that the environment and climate were at least part of the problem.
1) To talk publicly about my illness. Millions of Americans struggle with invisible and incurable conditions. But we are afraid to talk openly because we are frequently called "lazy" or told that our diseases are "in our head". Our continued silence perpetuates this ignorance -- so I'm doing my small part to make all of us more visible.
2) To thank you. You are the reason that I was able to find a better life on the other side of the country. Every penny spent researching and eventually improving my health came directly from sales of Baseball Mogul and Football Mogul. Without you, I would still be spending most of the day lying in bed staring at the ceiling (or popping Adderall and/or Vicodin just to get through the day). 3) To let you know that I'm still here. If you sent me an email and didn't hear back, I'm sorry. Please try again ([email protected]). I always appreciate your detailed feedback and continued support. Sincerely, Clay Dreslough

Thank you for sharing your journey so candidly, Clay. Invisible illnesses—especially when doctors can’t offer a diagnosis or relief—are so lonely and frustrating, and I deeply admire your courage in speaking out. It’s inspiring to hear that moving to Arcata and making changes has brought you relief—and that you’re finding new strength, literally and figuratively. Your willingness to let others know they’re not alone does more good than you might ever see.
